The Crisis Response Van or as one of my mentors like to call it “Go-Van”, is the heart and soul of the operations at Crusade for Good. The Go-Van will be setup in a manner that will allow it to get in and out of areas experiencing adverse conditions caused by a natural disaster. The van will have communications equipment that will enable command and control for the community in crisis, responding personnel, and volunteers. It will also have personnel recovery equipment such as a chainsaw, emergency lighting, first-aid kit, and rope. The Go-Van will also carry essential supplies like bottled water, emergency rations, and batteries that can be given to the community.
